Where Have I Been?

I have traveled a lot during my time with YWAM.  This page will be a quick timeline of where I have been and what I was doing there!  Feel free to ask me any questions and refer to my other page (insert link here) for a more in depth explanation of who YWAM is and what is a DTS.

January 2012-August 2012 - I started my time with YWAM doing the Impact UK DTS at YWAM Harpenden in England.

May-June 2012 - Our DTS split into 3 teams and went throughout the UK for outreach.  I went to Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.  We went door to door inviting people to events and praying for people mostly.  We also did some street evangelism and worked with a homeless mission.

July-August 2012 - My DTS then went back to the YWAM base and helped prepare for the events.  We then split into two teams and half stayed on base and the other team went into London and worked with a church.  We invited people to the events at the church and helped them, as well as going to the olympic park and talking to people.  I even managed to see Brazil v Belarus and Egypt v New Zealand in men's football!

September 2012 - Went to Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany and England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland with my parents to see Germany and show them the places I had been on my DTS

October 2012-June 2013 - I went back to the USA.  I worked and raised support to go back to Harpenden and join staff there!

July 2013-August 2015 - I was on staff in Harpenden.  I did many things such as a barista, staff development and further training, kitchen work, and more!

November 2013 - A group of us went to France for a week to learn about staffing DTS and get trained for upcoming schools

January 2014 - Surprise visit home

April 2014-September 2014 - Staffed the 2014 April DTS.

July 2014-September 2014 - Went to Brazil for 3 months.  We went to a conference to start and get acclimated to the culture and climate for the first week.  We then went to a favela in Rio de Janeiro for 10 days.  Germany beat Brazil in the World Cup during this time and my heart is still broken.  We helped a church there and prayed and met with various people throughout the slums.  We went to São Paulo where we stayed at a church and gave out food to crack addicts and prayed for them on the streets.  We then went to a couple smaller cities in the state of São Paulo and worked with churches or spoke at schools.  Afterwards we went to a boat in Guarujá and stayed there for a week going to islands and praying for people there.  We ended in Baia Formosa in the northeast at a village village on the coast.  We spoke at a lot of schools, ran an English seminar, and just encourage the locals.  This is were I fell in love with Brazil!

November 2014 - Went to the USA to visit and support raise for a month!

December 2014-August 2015 - Started working full time in the kitchen at Harpenden and eventually became the kitchen manager there.  I learned how to cook for huge groups and people and got a passion for food!

August 2015-April 2016 - Went back to the states and worked at Starbucks while I waited on God for my next step

April 2016-July 2016 - Went to Ensenada, Mexico and did a Biblical Core Course with YWAM there.  I read the entire bible chronologically and studied in depth 14 books!  While there I heard God tell me to join staff in Ensenada instead of going to Brazil

July 2016 - Now - In Wisconsin again working and support raising for my move to Mexico in a couple months!
November 2016-April 2017 - Staff in Ensenada preparing DTS
April 2017-June2017 - Leading DTS outreach in Brazil
June 2017-now - Working in kitchen in Ensenada, DTS, and currently Mission Adventures.
